I have a question about AICPA the released questions

Some people say that it is a wasted time to work those questions... aren't the questions on the Becker's software previously released AICPA questions as well?  What is the difference between the one on the software and the released ones?

I am asking because I have my 2008 and 2009 mcq's ready to review starting Sunday!!

Thank you

I have always thought they were helpful.  I review them either the night before or the morning of the test, and I always see questions on the test that are repeats of those (maybe not identical, but definitely close enough).  I definitely think it's worth it!

Agreed. Definitely worth doing it ( instead of repeating the questions you already did, good to explore some new questions).

Good luck Utesa,

Thanks

thank you as well for your comments Jay and Jdot514.
I was contemplating skipping them with time constraints- but now I will definetely review them once - do you think 2006 and 2007 AICPA release questions should also be reviewed?
Utesa I am working on EPS too :)

I took Thrusday and Friday to spend a loonngg weekend just studying.

I noticed for some reason that the areas that studied "last" on my first try were the areas that I scored "strongest" Gov and NFP,  that being said... what I am doing now is "following" my behavoir and studying/reviewing "key" areas  very "closely" the final days so I am sure I pass.   EPS is one of them.

Good luck!

I'm sure that 06 an 07 will be helpful, but it's all about how much time you have left in the end.  I've only ended up with enough time at the last minute to do usually just do one or two year's worth (which was usually 08 and 07 because it was before the 09 ones came out).

I think it means that the review course have changed the wordin of the question from what AICPA released, but still potray the same concept.

Hope it helps.

I'm going over the released questions for FAR and I think some one them are really tough. Are these released questions indicative of level of difficulty on the actual exam?

Anyone who has taken the actual exam and gone over the released questions for 2005-2009 can elaborate on the difficultly level between the two? Any differences and similarities?
