Anyone with experience on how hard it is finding a job in accounting right now?

I think it all depends on where you are in your career.
If you are green you probably will have a hard time
finding work. If you have a few years under your belt,
you should have very little problems finding work-
especially if you have business entity tax return
experience. In this profession, experience is key!

I think also it depends what part of the country you are in. I am in a relatively small town on the west coast of FL and have had trouble finding a position since my firm closed its offices here last summer. I have 4yrs tax experience and found that most small firms would rather hire someone without too much experince and pay very little. The larger firms are on a hiring freeze or taking interns for the season. I am considering moving to a larger city because of lack of jobs.
