Here's my dillema. I got to the end of the REG exam with a few minutes left. At the end, I hit the "Quit Exam" button instead of the "Continue" button. A window popped up several times after I hit "Yes" that I wanted to quit the exam. However, I did not read what the window said. I just kept hitting yes.
Does anyone know if my last testlet would have been saved by doing this? I can't believe I got in a hurry at the end and didn't take the time to read the pop up window!
If someone has experienced this, please let me know your comments.
Thanks,

Wow; that sucks.
The first time I did a simulated exam while I was studying for REG, I got all the way to the end of the exam and hit "quit" instead of "continue" ... and the program lost everything. I was pretty heartbroken that I'd just spent 2.5-3 hours working on problems and I would have no idea how I did on any of it! :-(
Luckily, I don't think the real exam works that way. According to the test tutorial on the CPA-exam.org website, if you "quit" the exam you will receive no credit for any unanswered questions or testlets not taken. To me, that would mean you are okay. But you can always try contacting someone at NASBA who might be able to tell you for sure.

I did the same Booboo. I did not receive my clearance at Prometric Testing Center because I quit instead of filling up the survey. Prometric gave me a Case Number and then a Telephone Number, which I immediately called the next day. It was the Prometric Technical Support to check/ensure whether all my answers been captured. I also called NASBA the next day about it and they said, if you quit, even if you did not complete the survey (the portion which will follow after the last simulation) it will not affect your grades. The state of California, Board of Accountancy also assured me of this fact.
I guess now I could confirm, that it won't really matter, since I passed the Regulation Exam :) I hope this will assure you.

I was scheduled to take AUD on Nov. 25th when yesterday I received a call from Prometric telling me they made an error and that my seat was not reserved. I scheduled this a month ago and have naturally been studying since. They told me the next available opening is January 6th, which for the meantime I took. I am wondering if there is any recourse I can take against Prometric because, honestly, this completely ruins not only my past month of studying but also my plans for December and early January. Hey, if we cancel an exam within 30 days of sitting for it, we owe a fee...I think I should get some cash, not to mention some interest on the money I have now essentially lent them for the additional month and a half I now have to wait to take the exam. Gotta love that time value of money. Feedback is welcomed.

I would call State Board. Just make sure you have confirmation of appointment.

cAN YOU TRY AND TAKE IT AT ANOTHER TEST CENTER. I KNOW I'M BETWEEN 2 WHICH ARE ONE HOUR ONE WAY AND AN HOUR AND A HALF THE OTHER. I WOULD SEE IF THERE IS ANOTHER ONE THAT YOU COULD TAKE IT AT.

There weren't any test centers within 3 hours of me with available times at the end of November. I called Prometric and after being repeatadly told that no slots were available, the guy finally "found one". It's a long story but hopefully no one else has to go through such a terrible process. Thanks for the responses.

Prometric should put you up in a hotel to take that test at the least. But, I'm sure they won't...
